CASE STUDY
Community Foundation for Greater New Haven
The Community Fund for Women & Girls wanted to fully leverage the opportunity of it’s 30th anniversary. Over three decades, the Fund had awarded more than $2 million in grants to 210 local organizations. They sought an anniversary campaign that would both honor that legacy and activate the next generation of donors across a full year of programming: digital, events, print, and everything in between.
We started with a theme. “Many Voices, One Vision” gave the campaign a through line that worked across every format and audience. From there we built the full creative system: visual identity, microsite, email campaigns, social templates, print, and event assets.
We also conceived the Community Vision Award, a public vote for a local nonprofit to receive a $2,000 grant. It gave people a concrete reason to engage before they were ready to give. The contest drove 1,800 qualified leads and 13,000 visits to manyvoicesonevision.org.
We consulted on Google Ads strategy, named the closing event, and designed all campaign graphics including the creative assets forVision in Action, a 30th anniversary luncheon at the Omni New Haven Hotel that drew 450 attendees. Keynote speaker Vanessa Priya Daniel, founder of Groundswell Fund and a leading voice in grassroots movement building, captivated the room.
As a woman-owned studio based in Connecticut, this one mattered to us personally.
